June and John and I spent about 30 minutes communing with a praying mantis this week. We've never seen one at our house before, but I must say, they are strange creatures. Their little trianglular heads follow you with their eyes like Martians.
One citing, and it has certainly joined the ranks of other favored bugs. John is ready to introduce it to his his blue baby grasshopper feather.
They are truly fascinating...hope the blue feather was not afraid!
