We just got back from a long trip into the mountains with family. The places themselves were beautiful, but most of our time and attention was on COUSINS! They played hard, and slept very little. I look forward to telling the teenage Will and Carson how they set their alarms for 6 AM to finger-knit before camp.

What fun! You may be surprised--the boys may not need you to tell them about this waking up at 6:00 to finger knit--they may always remember it themselves. And what is finger knitting?
ReplyDeleteHi dear Alice, Yikes - you're right. They are at the age when there is no more memory control. :) So, finger knitting involves wrapping yarn around the base of each finger, and then flipping it over until it forms a long & pretty much useless chain. Still, it's fun to measure and it makes them feel very productive. And it's good for fine finger skills, too. XXX, Alice the 2nd.
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures - such fun cousin times!!!
